Mount Ararat Classic Climb – 5 Days to the Summit

Day 1 – Arrival in Doğubayazıt & Gear Check

Arrive at Ağrı, Iğdır, or Van airport
Private transfer to hotel in Doğubayazıt
Meet your mountain guide and team
Gear check and climb briefing
Overnight in hotel

Day 2 – Transfer to Ararat Trailhead & Hike to Base Camp (3,200 m)

Transfer by minibus to Cevirme village
Start the hike to Base Camp (~3–4 hours)
Mules transport your main luggage
Camp set up at 3,200 m altitude
Optional short acclimatization hike
Dinner and overnight in tents

Day 3 – Acclimatization Hike to High Camp (4,200 m) & Return

Breakfast at Base Camp
Hike up to High Camp (4,200 m) for acclimatization (~4–5 hours)
Return to Base Camp for rest and dinner
Overnight in tents

Day 4 – Summit Day: Climb to 5,137 m & Descend to Base Camp

Early alpine start (~1–2 AM) for summit push
Use of crampons may be required near summit
Reach the summit of Mount Ararat and enjoy panoramic views over Turkey, Armenia, and Iran
Celebrate and take photos
Descend back to Base Camp
Overnight in tents

Day 5 – Hike Down & Return to Doğubayazıt

After breakfast, trek down to Cevirme village (~3 hours)
Transfer back to Doğubayazıt
Optional visit to Ishak Pasha Palace
Drop-off at hotel or airport for onward travel
