Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Dalaman – Transfer to Fethiye: Welcome to Turkey! Upon arrival at Dalaman Airport, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel in the vibrant coastal town of Fethiye. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Hike Ovacık to Faralya: Start your Lycian Way hike with one of the most iconic sections: Ovacık to Faralya, offering panoramic views of Babadağ Mountain and the Blue Lagoon of Ölüdeniz.
Day 3: Hike Faralya to Kabak Bay (via forest trail): Walk through pine forests and quiet trails to the serene Kabak Bay, passing hidden waterfalls and Mediterranean vistas.
Day 4: Hike Kabak to Alınca – Transfer to Gey Village: A scenic but rewarding trek from Alınca to Gey Village, following rugged mountain paths with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean coast. The trail winds through pine forests, terraced hillsides, and traditional rural landscapes before arriving at the serene and authentic Gey Village, where you’ll enjoy a peaceful evening in a tranquil setting.
Day 5: Letoon & Xanthos Cultural Day – Transfer to Kaş: Take a break from trekking and visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Letoon and Xanthos, rich with Lycian and Roman ruins. Afternoon transfer to the charming coastal town of Kaş.
Day 6: Hike Sahil Kilincli to Aperlai – Boat to Simena – Üçağız: Trek a rugged coastal trail from Sahil Kilincli to the sunken city ruins of Aperlai. From there, take a boat cruise through crystal waters to Simena (Kale Koy). Visit the castle and enjoy a swim before reaching Üçağız.
Day 7: Hike Kapaklı to Andriake – Myra & Demre Visit – Return to Fethiye: Explore one last stretch of trail from Kapaklı to the ancient harbor of Andriake. Then take a short drive to Myra, the town of St. Nicholas, before heading back to Fethiye.
Day 8: Transfer to Dalaman Airport – Farewell!: Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before your private transfer to Dalaman Airport. Your Lycian adventure may be over, but the memories will last a lifetime!
